TIKAL


With 4000 structures, one of them is the highest in Mesoamerica, it was We recommend leaving in the morning, at the time you desire and head ourselves to the largest archaeological site of the classical period, Tikal.

 With over 4,000 structures, it was declared by UNESCO as cultural and natural heritage of humanity in 1979. You will visit the Great Plaza, Temple I, II, III and IV, the complex of astronomical observation "Lost World" and other smaller buildings. 


Includes: Private transportation, entrance fees, English speaking guide, lunch box and a cooler with drinks organic mosquito repellent.

Recommendations: raincoat during rainy season, comfortable hiking shoes and comfortable fresh clothes.

Note: The terrain is relatively flat; some temples are good options to climb. 




Yaxha and Topoxté


You leave at the time you desire and head to the third largest archeological site in Guatemala (after Tikal and El Mirador), impressive for the large number of structures close to each other, many of them built more than 15 centuries ago.

You will visit the Temple of the Red Hands, several ceremonial causeways, the ball court, the pyramid of sacrifices and more. You will be transferred by boat to Topoxté, a seasonal island in Lake Yaxhá, used for 3 millennials as a royal cemetery.

Includes: Transportation, boat service to Topoxté, entrance fee to sites, English speaking guide, lunch box and a cooler with soft drinks, organic mosquito repellent.

Note: The terrain is relatively flat and the few steps there are handrails.

 *If you want to make this tour in the afternoon to watch the sunset you will leave the hotel at 13:00 hrs. The price is the same as the normal tour except that you do not visit Topoxte. 


CEIBAL


You leave in the morning at the time desired to drive to the south of Petén to the River "La Pasión", which was very important before for trade between ancient Maya cities. 

You will take a boat to arrive to the archaeological site "Ceibal" a Mayan city abandoned over a millennium ago, now covered with lush tropical rain forest. On this site, you can still see the best-preserved portraits of the Maya world of rulers carved on stone, so well preserved that one can observe the space between each tooth of the rulers. 

90% of the hike is in the shade of the forest. You will take a box lunch to eat when you return to the boat.

Walk: 2 ½ hours with pauses to rest.

Peten itza


In the morning you drive you to the dock of Concordia Park to take a boat to visit ARCAS, which is a place where you can find many local wild animals that have been rescued from poachers' predators. Then we take you on the boat to El Mirador del Rey Canek that is located on the top of an archaeological site called "Tayazal“.

El Mirador del Rey Canek has the best view to photograph the island of Flores. After that we visit Actun Kan Caves in Flores, where you will see Stalactites and Stalagmites. Then we take you to the island of Flores, which is the state capital of Petén, where you get a guided tour of the place. 

The island is now a very colorful city with colonial and Caribbean architecture, but before the arrival of the Spanish it was the capital for the Maya Itzá group, and the last Maya capital conquered. 

You can have lunch in the restaurant of your choice. 

Free time to explore the island or do shopping.

Uaxactun


You leave in the morning and move to the northern region of Petén, in the heart of the Maya Biosphere to visit the ruins where the first war of conquest happened in the Maya region. In this archaeological site you will also visit the most representative astronomical observatory of the Classic Period. During the walk you can admire an existing community of mestizos and indigenous people who learned to live with forest using only renewable products. 70% of the hike is in the shade of the forest.

At the time desired you will have lunch at Restaurant El Parque Tikal.

Aguateca


We leave in the morning headed to the southeast of Petén, where you will take a boat to go by the mystical stream Petexbatún up to the lake of the same name where there is a large amount of wildlife including crocodiles and many fish. At the end of the lake lies the impressive Maya site of Aguateca which was built in the late classical period when there were many wars.

The city is located between a natural cliff and a geological fault, which gave the city a defensive position and view of the area; they also built defensive walls which made the place a fortress. During the walk you will see impressive stelae among the jungle trails, and you can also hear the chirping of birds and howl of the monkeys.

90% of the hike is in the shade of the forest. You will take a box lunch to eat at the time desired.

Walk: 2.5 hours

The Blue Crater


Most of this natural source of water are marine blue and turquoise and the water is so clear you can observe the underwater garden that hides underneath. The Cráter Azul owes its name to the shape of a crater with shallow angles and deep center, reaching up to 5 meters. 

We offer a tour in which you leave in the morning to drive for one hour and a half until you reach Sayaxche and from there you will take a boat and drive for two hours until you arrive to Cráter Azul where you will enjoy its crystalline water, flora, fauna and enjoy a lunch picnic style in the middle of nature.

Recommendations: To preserve the streams and creeks you cannot enter the water with any repellent, sunblock or suntan lotion. You cannot use jewelry of any kind that might fall and contaminate the area. 

Spiritual Tour


Get closer to the mystery of the Mayan origin with the tour to the Tecolote Caves in San Benito, Petén.

Get closer to the mystery of the Mayan origin with the tour to the Tecolote Caves in San Benito, Petén where you can experience the veneration and legacy of an ancient culture, guided by a Mayan priest. Upon reaching the caves, a Mayan ceremony is performed to connect spiritually with the ancestors, the ceremony can be healing, to generate good vibes or union; it all depends on the request of the group. If you want it can be based on the Mayan Calendar, this needs to be planned well in advance. Experience a spiritual recovery to nature.
